Though Haryanvi food is not so popular as the food from neighboring states Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh , but there is unique simplicity in this cuisine. This simplicity of the haryanvi cuisine makes it somewhat different from the neighboring states. 

Haryana is always known as a rich state which has a dairy rich food culture. People here love to have milk, butter, ghee, butter milk and other dairy products.
