Carrot Tomato Soup Recipe  : Chopped carrot and tomato is boiled together in water to make soup. Soups are considered very healthy, if cooked healthy ways. We can make soup at home very easily. Butter makes soups very tasty, so I prefer to add butter instead of other oils. If you have a health condition which suggests to avoid butter, please go ahead with the oils.

Carrot tomato soup is very healthy and wasy to prepare soup recipe. I have added few other vegetables while boiling carrot and tomato for soup. I added spring onion, mint leaves, ginger and garlic while boiling carrot and tomato. All these vegetables and greens provide a very fresh taste to soup.

Additionally we can add spinach, coriander, celery and many other vegetables. We can also add tofy, paneer or shallow fried bread to the soup. Here is the complete recipe for Carrot Tomato Soup.

Ingredients for Carrot Tomato Soup

  • Carrot : 2 
  • Tomato : 2 
  • Spring Onion : 1
  • Mint Leaves : 4 - 5
  • Garlic : 4- 5 cloves
  • Ginger : 1/2 inch
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar : 1/ 4 tsp
  • Butter : 1 tbsp
  • Bread Slice : 1
  • How to make Carrot Tomato Soup

    In a pan, add roughly chopped carrot, tomato, spring onion, mint leaves, ginger and garlic. Add 2 cups water in it. Bring to boil on low / medium flames. Simmer on low flames for 2  - 3 minutes. Turn off the flames and keep aside for cooling.

    When it is cold completely, blend it to make a puree. We can use a hand blender or can do it in locked blender. Add salt and sugar.

    Now cut tje brown sides of bread from all 4 corners. Cut these bread slices into small pieces. 

    Heat butter in a pan, shallow fry these bread pieces. Add into the soup. 

    Carrot Tomato Soup is ready. Serve it hot.
